Ron Bland, who holds the Photographic Craftsman degree from the Professional Photographers of America, has been a professional photographer since 1978.

As an in-house photographer for an advertising agency, Ron's early career was primarily advertising illustration. Over the years, Ron has continued creating commercial images while adding more people photography through executive portraits and model and fashion portfolios select personal portraits.

In the past few years, Ron has earned a reputation as one of the top glamour photographers in the state, specializing in photographing models and entertainers as well as being published in several calendars and magazines.

Since 1990, Ron has spoken to professional photography groups from Florida to Oregon to Massachusetts.

He has also taught photography at Baylor and DBU.

Ron is a member of the PPA, the Texas Professional Photographers Association, and Rotary International. He is also a member and past president of the Metroplex Professional Photographers Association.
